Our Trails

For the first time since the 1970s we had our back acres of woods logged in 2012.  This selective cutting important to the continued health and sustainability of the farm and provides us an opportunity to share our farm with you as well.

We are a working family farm committed to growing fruits, vegetables, and livestock with sustainable production practices.  When the "back 40" was logged a trail system was completed that travels through the historic piece of property.  The land is very sentimental and we hope that you will respect it as much as we do.

In the winter we will have the trails open selectively for both snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.  In the spring, summer, and fall we will open the trails for hiking as well as events such as hayrides and guided tours where we can share our folklore, myths, and tales that our property holds.  We will ask that you check this page at all times for current trail conditions and closures.

When you arrive at the farm you will ask to be signed a sheet that is an agreement promising that you will not litter, disrupt, or harm our land.  You are also agreeing to stay on the trail itself unless there is a special guided tour with one of the owners or managers of the farm.  Please keep in mind that this is a working farm.  Not only is there farm machinery traveling through the fields but there are also farmers and employees hard at work tending to our crops and livestock.  Besides being a working farm we are a business and home where your farmers live and work hard to make their living.  Please do not walk into crop land or disrupt a field that may look like bare ground.

Your cooperation and adherence is appreciated.  We hope for this to be a success and anticipate it becoming a tradition here at the farm.

Current Trail Conditions:

Our trails are currently only open on Sunday.  They are very muddy, so be prepared!

There is a sign-in sheet at the farm stand that you are required to complete as well as a $5 entry fee that can be paid at the stand as well.

Please stay tuned for more details as we develop our trails and a seasonal subscription can be purchased!
