Our Produce

We grow a large and diverse variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs that are hand-picked daily and available at the peak of ripeness and flavor.  All of our produce is grown using an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) system. This is a very effective preventative care approach to pest management and we work with the University of Massachusetts Amherst to inspect our crops weekly.

Using several methods to prevent damage, such as crop rotation and growing pest-resistant plants, we greatly reduce the use of chemicals in the fields.  By the intelligent use of prevention, observation, and intervention, we pride ourselves in selling responsibly raised, healthy produce grown in healthy soil.  It is important to us that the food we grow not only be healthy for those eating it, but also healthy for those working in the fields, for the soil itself and for the global environment.  We also offer several seasonal fruits that come from local family farms we have created strong relationships with and that share our commitment to quality and responsible growing practices.

Additionally, we were one of the first farms to be certified and included in the Commonwealth Quality program which recognizes us for using practices that are safe, sustainable and don’t harm the environment.  That’s why Commonwealth Quality-certified growers, producers, harvesters and processors not only meet stringent federal, state and local regulatory requirements, but also employ best management practices and production standards.  This ensures consumers receive the safest, most wholesome products available.

Our produce can be purchased in our roadside farm stand as well as through our Summer and Winter CSA programs and local farmers markets.   To view recipes and insider information on our crop production as the season progresses you can view our blog "Your Farmers in the Dell" by clicking here

Additionally, we accept accept bulk produce orders for our produce.  Whether you’re interested in seconds for canning and preserving or a large amount of veggies for a special event please let us know!
